Midnight train to Georgia

This morning I was awoken by an earthquake! Yup, I'm back in Alaska.
It will be interesting once the winter starts coming. I haven't lived here in the winter since high school. I've visited for Thanksgiving and Christmas but haven't lived lived here. I guess what I'm saying is, get ready for lots of layering. We will be covered in snow by the end of October.

I am searching out cool places to take photos here in my new/old town, and I decided to try the train yard today. Pretty neat, I sez.

Here's another feather fascinator. I wore it to work today. A lady asked me about it and asked if I had an etsy shop. I'm glad I'm starting my shop back up. Hopefully it will be more successful this time!

Do you ever feel like your eyes just gobble something up visually? This happens to me pretty much every time I'm looking at Design*Sponge. It's like I can't scroll fast enough to see all the great things!

Five more life instructions!:

6. Have a firm handshake.

7. Look people in the eye.

8. Say "thank you" a lot.

9. Say "please" a lot.

10. Learn to play a musical instrument.

Do you guys play any instruments? I've played a few in my time, but the only one that stuck was the guitar. I played the piano, violin, and clarinet as a child.
