Interview outfit!!


I have an interview tomorrow for a job at probably the coolest shop in town! They sell amazing little housewares and clothing. I actually almost bought a dress there the other day, it was basically a Betty Draper dress and I almost died when I saw it. I guess that means I should've bought it, huh? I might do so tomorrow after the interview... I've been drooling about it.

Anyway, it's a pretty cute, vintage-y place, so I've been brainstorming what to wear to the interview tomorrow morning. Here are some of my thoughts:


1.
Some sort of incarnation of this outfit, sans t-shirt (much too casual for an interview, sez I). I like the tights and shoes, and I definitely am going to wear one of my feather fascinators. I think a skirt or dress is a must.

2.
Maybe the bottom half of the above photo, with the skirt in this photo? I'm still thinking the top in this photo is too casual though.

3.
And then there's always my favorite dress. Unfortunately these shoes broke, so I don't have them anymore. They were my favorite shoes! I like this dress a lot though, is it interview-worthy?

Okay, I had this photo as an inspiration too, but on the whole I think it is far too casual for this interview. I liked the tights and shoes, though.

Hair? I will either wear it down, or beehive it. And as much as I'd like to curl my bangs like so:

I haven't yet tried it with my new short bangs, so I don't want to have a hair-disaster occur tomorrow morning. Regular bangs, it shall be.


Makeups?
Cat eye eyeliner, nice big lashes, and a vintage blush/foundation treatment. I think I may even go out tonight and buy some fake lashes to really get the big vintage lashes like Flair to Remember.



So that's my plan so far for tomorrow morning's interview. Luckily it's at 11 a.m. so I don't have to get up super early to try and implement all of this.

21. Learn three clean jokes.

22. Wear polished shoes.

23. Floss your teeth.

24. Drink champagne for no reason at all.
