Halcyon Days

This weekend when I was in Seattle we sauntered into a Betsey Johnson store and I found this little jewel:
I want it soooo bad for my birthday dress! I would say it is the quintessential birthday party dress. Unfortunately it's in the neighborhood of 400 bucks. It's so adorable though. I will accept donations...

Here is my today outfit. Apparently I am addicted to scarves now. I just like a cozy warm neck, what can I say?? I got some earmuffs in Bellingham, and so I rode around on my bike with earmuffs, mittens and this scarf looking so autumnal.Dress: Fred Meyer
Shirt: JC Penney

Tonight I am making Thai burritos for dinner. I am very excited, should be delish. Speaking of food/cooking, you all should make pumpkin cookies! I made some with friends this weekend and they were sublime. I don't remember what recipe we used, but here is a recipe for you to use! We added chocolate chips, but you can add whatever you like!

1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt

/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
1 cup
LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin
1 large egg
