I can't believe Christmas is in less than a week! And I really can't believe a whole year has passed by again! Craziness. This time last year I had just moved to Tacoma and Daniel had asked me to be his girlfriend. So much can happen in just a year. I wonder what I'll be saying about 2012 this time next year...
I'm in the middle of working on my 25 before 26 list. I need to go find my 24 before 25 list so I can see how I did on that one and maybe roll over some of the ones that I didn't quite get done. I love doing little lists like that. Bucket lists are great, but I like the immediacy of having a shorter time span to achieve goals. So far I have some pretty lofty goals, so we'll see how things pan out. I'll definitely share it as soon as I fill in the rest of my 25 goals!
I've had this dress for about two years, and while it rarely gets worn, I do love the times when it makes its way off the hanger. I'm not big on wearing white, mainly because it's rather rainy here, which makes for mud... and I always feel like I'm going to get mud on myself somehow. These boots, however, are perfect for Tacoma rainy weather. I have a few pairs of canvas or suede boots, but in the wet weather they tend to let the water seep through eventually and get my toes wet and cold. These ones are great for keeping my feet try. Plus, they're tall enough that I can wear my warm thermal socks too!
