A couple weeks ago I bought a little bunch of Daffodils at the store on a whim in celebration of Spring, and when I got home I realized that I didn't have anything remotely resembling a flower vase to put them in. After some scrounging around I realized that the beer bottles I was saving for recycling could make a fun little cluster of vases! I soaked the bottles in the sink for a while so the labels would come off easier, peeled the labels off, then filled them with water and plunked the little Daffodils in! Voila! It could be interesting with different colored bottles too, like clear bottles or green ones. Or even wine bottles!
