Window Shopping

First off, I want to thank you all for your comments on my last post. I am feeling a bit more level-headed today and all your advice was wonderful. I am still not exactly sure what I will do but I have a better vantage point now to look at it, I think.

If you read my post a couple days ago, you know that I have literally zero dollars (well, I'm going to deposit my paycheck today, but ... that still doesn't bring me that much above zero, haha!). Anywho, with all this cold weather I am just aching for new clothes to layer with, but alas. So I think I'm just going to share a little wishlist of items from ShopRuche and ModCloth, more for my own delight, so that I can gaze at all my desires every time I open my page. Perhaps that is cruel and unusual punishment for myself, but who cares! Window shopping can be fun!

First, Ruche...
I love the plaid jacket, which Rebecca recently acquired, and I love it on her! And the brown dress reminds me of Erin's (from Calivintage) girl scout Halloween costume.

And, ModCloth...

My ModCloth choices seem to all be very 60's. I'm not a big sleeveless person, so I really like how vintage-y dresses have the sleeved look. And really, who can deny the cuteness of the Dear Creatures fall collection? I mean COME ON. Their lookbook is like the most beautiful of all lookbooks ever. I'm waxing dramatic, but I really do love their lookbook. I just saw the Dear Creatures dress over at Sally Jane Vintage, and it's the first time I've actually seen it "out and about."

Okay, despite not having work today, I have a feeling I will be a busy bee. I need to make a skirt for a friend which I've been meaning to do for FOR EV ER. And my Dad is home today, which means more Christmas light putting up, plowing an ice rink (whee!), and getting some dog booties for Little Bit! Now that the temperature is hovering around zero degrees fahrenheit, she can't stay outside for very long before her little feets get frozen!

P.S. I will be posting the Christine Berrie giveaway winner soon! Stay tuned...
