I wore this outfit to target the other day and as I was returning something, the lady says to me, "you look like, you know, one of those American Girl dolls." And then I realized that she was totally right. I'm not sure which one of the American Girl dolls I look most like... I feel like the outfit is very "Samantha," but that's just the doll I'm most familiar with. I had a Samantha doll as a girl because she was the one with dark hair, like me.
Today Dan and I are hanging out with his parents for some post-thanksgiving family time. We spent Thanksgiving day with friends here in town and it was amazing! Everyone brought really delicious food, it was quite a spread! I brought a pumpkin pie, an Apple Cider pie and some super tasty mashed potatoes. I made the mashed potatoes with my new kitchenaid mixer, it's maiden voyage! They turned out so great, I was really excited. Kudos to The Pioneer Woman for helping a sista out with such a bomb recipe!
