We're getting down to the wire! This time next week I'll be making centerpieces, working on bouquets and getting ready for the rehearsal! I've been DIY-ing like there's no tomorrow. Thankfully I don't think there's too much left to do, though I'm sure it'll get crazy at the last minute. We're really glad we decided to have a short engagement. I wouldn't have liked having a wedding and all the planning hanging over my head for months and months. Plus, our philosophy is that he asked me to marry him so that we could be married, not so we could be engaged. I'm so excited to start our marriage during this holiday season of Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. So many new traditions to start and special times ahead of us in our first months of marriage!
