I feel like I can say for sure that summer has arrived! Bring it on! My wonderful (ex)coworker gave me this dress and it's the perfect summer sundress! Yesterday I had a lovely day getting some much needed work done and enjoying the absolutely gorgeous weather. It's supposed to be sunny and 70ºF today!
For those of you wondering about my mysterious upcoming plans, I shall enlighten you! Earlier this week I decided to take a position as a mentor at Soundview Camp for the summer, which means I'll be moving out of Tacoma in about a month and will be romping around in the gorgeous Washington wilderness for two months! This will likely mean blog posts will be less frequent as most of my time will be devoted to camp related activities, but I'm sure I'll have a ton of beautiful photos to share (some of which you've already seen). Plus, I'll be living in the Brave! Reunited and it feels so good... I got to visit it this week and just seeing it put a smile on my face.

It will be interesting for sure. I haven't been to summer camp since I was a kid! My high school did a 4 or 5 day retreat at the beginning of the school year which was at the same summer camp that I went to as a kid, but I only ended up going to that my freshman and senior years because it overlapped with the State Fair Horseshow, and showing was always my priority. So it's been quite a few years to say the least. I'll be mentoring high schoolers which is something I've never really done, and it's been a bit since I was even in high school or around people that age. I was such a mellow teenager (well, mostly. I had some teen angst outbursts now and then), it'll probably be a learning curve to remember what it was like to be that age and all the stuff I dealt with as a teenager. I'm excited though. I think it'll be a learning experience and a total blast. The camp program directors are my really good friends, so getting to hang out with them all summer will be a blast.
Oh! And the winner of the $25 gift certificate to Vintage Urban Renewal is .... Kalyn!! Congrats!
