down on copperline

Right after I took these photos I went to go out to dinner with my family and threw on a scarf, and when I looked in the mirror I was like, "dangit... I like my outfit like 100 times better now..." Buuuut, I was too tired to go out after dinner and do another set of photos. Plus, it was super windy outside and I was afraid my tripod was going to blow over during my first set, so I wasn't about to tempt fate and go out for another one. And I hate wind. I even hate having the AC blow on me in the car. My mom makes fun of me for this all the time. Interestingly, I don't mind having hot air blow on me. I crank the heat up like it's nobody's business on the way to work in the morning.

skirt/forever 21 :: shoes/thrifted :: top(dress)/forever 21

For a while now, I've been wanting to show you guys the other ways I've worn the things I post in my outfit posts, but didn't really want to clutter up my posts with a bunch of images of past outfits, but I just remembered that on Weardrobe you can search for outfits based on a single item, so now you can click on my outfit details and it'll take you to my Weardrobe where it'll show you all the ways I've worn that particular item! Pretty snazzy, eh? And all you newer readers can be totally weirded out by my black hair!

This skirt was passed around the Delightful Dozen for a few months and has finally made it's way home to me again! It's one of my favorite skirts and it's so comfortable that I tend to wear it all the time. Speaking of the Delightful Dozen, we have some exciting news! Unfortunately Jessica from WhatIWore will no longer be able to participate in the DD, but we have a lovely new lady to fill her shoes! Maria from Lulu Letty! I'm super excited, it will be fun to have an infusion of new style into the group!

A little Brave Update for you all: New fridge cover! When I got it, there was no panel covering the front of the fridge, just the ugly foil insulation stuff. I've always wanted to paint something with chalkboard paint, and I thought this would be a perfect opportunity!
I went out and bought a piece of board and the chalkboard paint, cut the board, sanded it, primed it, and painted it. Voila! A place to make shopping lists, doodles, friendly messages, or a map of my tentative route! You can also see my pillows from target there in the background of the 'after' picture. This weekend I'm going to try and make a video of the interior like I said I would. I may have to borrow my brother's video camera and his movie-making skills to assist me...
