Pumpkin carving

I am getting in the halloween spirit! Here is the pumpkin that I carved last night. I want to carve so many more now. I think I'm going to buy one and carve another to put up at work.

Since I've become overcome with halloween and fall stuff, I went to MarthaStewart.com this afternoon and looked at their pumpkin carving ideas. They were all really great, but here are a few of my favorites:

I was also lurking Design*Sponge today at work and fell in love with this apartment. I love the idea of putting framed pictures on shelves instead of hanging them directly on the wall. And I adore the makeshift board above the desk made out of an old door. I used to go to the habitat for humanity surplus store when I used to live in Spokane and they had $1 doors! I wish I still lived there, because I really want to make a cool wall thing like this one.

Stay tuned tomorrow because I'm posting a most exciting giveaway in honor of my 100 followers! (well, 105 by now...) It's so exciting that I wish I could win my own giveaway!
Also, I'm going to a job interview tomorrow for a job as Visual Merchandiser for a great little store here in town. I'm really excited and I hope I get the job. Now, I'm off to do some research and clean up before bed.
