Copper Creek Inn is one of my favorite venues to shoot. Not only is it a beautiful, woodsy, cozy, and intimate, but I also happened to have my honeymoon there nearly four years ago! Every time I get to go back to shoot a wedding I have so much nostalgia for those first few days married spent hunkered down in a rustic log cabin on the side of Mount Rainier.
Copper Creek is a relatively small venue, the weddings that I've shot had no more than 60 guests, but it's only a couple hours outside of Seattle and the venue has a handful of gorgeous little cabins for the family and wedding party to stay at and get ready in, which makes for a really fun summer-camp-like wedding morning.
I love how natural settings bring their own beauty, making the decor budget a lot smaller. Copper Creek features, no surprise, a creek that winds its way through the middle of the property and the large river rocks speckling the creek bed are one of my favorite places for portraits.
One of the best parts of the reception area is the huge fire pit where guest can warm up, roast marshmallows, and chat into the evening. I'd take fireside conversation over a fancy cocktail hour chit chat any day. So intimate and homespun.
I can't wait to shoot more weddings at this little mountainside gem! See more of Lindsay + Harrison's October wedding here, and Aaron + Laura's September wedding here! And check out Copper Creek Inn's website here!
